The Academy for Real Estate Careers welcomes
Lacey Township Mayor Gary Quinn.

The Academy's May day class was honored to have as guest speaker, Mayor Gary Quinn.  Mayor Quinn's presentation covered all aspects of the community and the workings of the local government.   He covered topics such as, zoning, taxes, code enforcement, planning boards, and assessors.  He fielded many questions from the students concerning municipalities and their role with real estate.  Lacey Township is truly fortunate to have such a community oriented, knowledgeable leader.  On behalf of the May class and The Academy for Real Estate Careers, Thank you Mayor Quinn for taking the time out of your extremely busy schedule to present this seminar.

Rodney Cocci, H & R Block, Bayville/Lacey offices, presented a very informative seminar on IRS and state regulations concerning independent contractors' tax liabilities.
The class of future realtors learned the importance of deductions, expenses, 1099 tax reporting and the importance of quarterly tax estimate payments.  Thank you Rodney, for taking time out of your busy schedule to present this timely and vital information to our class.  You did a phenomenal job!
